Doll's House Willow
A wee Christmas present from my friend Lisa Larsson...a set of dinner plates (about 2cm diameter) and serving dishes for a doll's house. Thanks, Lisa! Happy Christmas!

Double take in Peckham Space
I was driving over to a friend in Peckham last Friday and was stuck at the lights at the top of Rye Lane when something caught my eye on the right. A new gallery (well, new to me) has popped up besides the entrance to the library/Peckham Pulse and in the window I could see a blue & white round thing, most likely a plate, possibly some sort of Willow pattern....
I continued on to meet my friend, then on the way back I stopped to find out. The gallery is Peckham Space, apparently a Camberwell School of Art project in association with Southwark Council. The show was a Christmas show with works from local artists, all at around £50. One or two pieces were rather good, most of it was a bit crap like any 'open submission' show is. The item that had caught my attention all the way from the road turned out to be a bit of a surprise.
It was a biro drawing on a polystyrene plate about nine inches diameter in the Willow stylee depicting the space outside the Peckham Library. The artist is Jayne Lloyd. Can't find out much about her so far. Might eventually get round to emailing her at the address given on the label that was stuck next to the piece.
